The 140th Palli Yatra is set to commence from Darbarvas, Naroda, converting a distance of 2.5 km on foot, leading to the Randal Mata Temple. Over 1,00,000 devotees are expended to witness the grand procession this year, as part of the Dussehra Celebrations.

The Palli Yatra holds a long-standing tradition, Tracing back 139 years, making it a deep-rooted culture and religious event in the Naroda area. The procession, accompanied by devotees holding unsheathed swords, reflects the enduring customer of the Kshatriya Community. The path starts from Darbarvas, passes Landmarks like Naleswar Mahadev Temple and Machhli Circle, and ends at the Randal Maa Temple. Due to the event’s significance, the road from Naroda to Dahegam will remain closed temporarily.

Efficient Planning And Security Arrangements:

To ensure safety, Naroda Police have implemented a strict security arrangement starting late at night. over 100 police guards will accompany the procession to prevent any untoward incidents. Alongside the authorities, 250 volunteers will also assist, ensuring smooth movement and providing necessary support to devotees.

A Celebration of Unity and Tradition:

The Palli Yatra not only celebrates religious fervour but also promotes unity among communities. Social worker Bodabhai Darbar shared that people from all religions participate, highlighting the harmony and enthusiasm that the event brings to Naroda.

The excitement reached its peak as thousands flocked to witness the processions, filling the streets with energy and devotion. For around three hours, the roads will remain closed to accommodate the vibrant crowd that gathers for the procession’s darshan.
